Circle plans to enter about 40 emerging and developing country markets.

PANews October 16 news, according to Reuters, Circle co-founder, Chairman and CEO Jeremy Allaire said the company is pushing hard to enter about 40 emerging and developing country markets globally.

Speaking in Bangkok during the International Monetary Fund and World Bank meetings, Allaire said blockchain is moving from the early adoption stage to the mainstream scaling stage, and demand for stablecoins and digital financial services is growing among individuals and businesses in Southeast Asia, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East. He also said large financial institutions and payment companies are moving from pilots to using stablecoins for cross-border settlement and asset transfers, and machine-to-machine micropayments between AI agents are also driving the use of USDC.
