Analysis: Investors Lean Toward Risk-On Sentiment Triggered by US CPI

PANews October 14 news: Dennis DeBusschere, founder of institutional research firm 22V Research, and his clients believe that investors tend to expect the U.S. September CPI released on Wednesday to trigger a rise in market risk appetite. An internal survey of clients conducted by the firm showed that 44% of respondents expect the market to react to the inflation data with increased risk appetite, while about one-third expect the market reaction to be more mixed or largely muted. Nearly half of the surveyed clients believe that other investors will also interpret the data as a signal favorable to risk sentiment.
