Well-known trader: Bitcoin’s high this year is 97,000 US dollars. If it falls below 80,000 US dollars in the short term, it will see a bottom of 74,000 US dollars.

According to ChainCatcher news, the well-known trader Killa posted that Bitcoin is expected to reach a high of $97,000 this year, and most of the year will still be dominated by fluctuations below this price. Killa said that 80K-83K is the key for Bitcoin in the short term. If it is lost, the next possible area would be 74K–77K. That was most likely the last capitulation bottom before the push towards 97K.

However, if the strength continues, the retracement may be much shallower, perhaps as low as 80K, before the next leg up. As a quantitative trader focusing on BTC, Killa predicted the peak of this bull market in May 2025 and has more than 200,000 fans on the X platform. It was short Bitcoin at $74,688 in mid-April and turned long on June 5 during a broad market decline.
