Parity

Parity was founded by Gavin Wood, co-founder of Ethereum. After completing the Ethereum yellow book and early core code development, Gavin founded Parity Technologies and developed the Parity Ethereum client. Parity is based on Rust, which is known for its high-efficiency asynchronous I/O model, which makes Parity perform better than the official client. In the second half of 2016, the entire Ethereum network was continuously attacked by DDoS, the official geth client could not work, and Parity, which was just launched, was still able to run, making a large number of Ethereum nodes switch to using the Parity client. Parity optimized the data of the early blocks of Ethereum, so the synchronization speed is much faster than the official client. Parity has built-in consensus engines such as PoA and Tendermint, making it easy for individual developers or businesses to create their own Ethereum-based blockchain. Parity's graphical client also has good support for developing contracts, debugging, and calling contracts, making it easier for developers to get started with smart contracts. Parity integrates some useful special features, such as timing transactions, quickly switching between various test networks, and more.
