PANews November 2 news: Talis Protocol posted a disclosure that on October 31, an attacker exploited a vulnerability in its marketplace and auction contracts on the Injective chain, stealing approximately 5,700 escrowed NFTs and selling them through public collection-wide purchase offers. The team has currently paused new listings and auctions on Injective and has returned more than 26,000 NFTs from the contracts to their original owners. As a precaution, new listings and auctions on other chains have also been paused, and a fix is being deployed. Talis stated that it has recorded all affected NFTs, their pre-theft owners, and the bid transaction information. The team is formulating a plan to return the NFTs to their original owners and compensate the bidders. A full post-mortem report will be released subsequently.
