Notion upgrades AI Agent to support computer and browser operations and tasks lasting up to 24 hours.

PANews October 20 news: Notion has announced an upgrade to its AI features. Notion Agent can now use a standalone computer and browser, with improved context management, and a new "Review for me" mode with safety checks has been added, allowing tasks to run for up to 24 hours. The upgraded Auto model routing balances quality, speed, and cost based on the task; the company says it achieves results close to Opus 5.5 and Astra on more than 20 common tasks, at an average cost about 90% lower. Notion also supports personal Agents connecting to existing ChatGPT subscriptions, and the enterprise bring-your-own-key (BYOK) feature has entered private Alpha testing. Notion MCP memory sync is now live, and the ability to use skills via MCP is coming soon; AI usage will be incorporated into a new unified credits system. The not-yet-launched AI Command Center will provide usage viewing, spending limits and alerts, as well as management of model and Agent permissions.
