AMC CEO Slams Robinhood Again: Stock Tokens Could Affect the Company's Capital Structure

PANews October 18 news: AMC Entertainment CEO Adam Aron once again posted, again attacking Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev and Chief Legal Officer Dan Gallagher. He pointed out that AMC does not agree with Robinhood's launch of AMC stock tokens in the United States, and that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) also requires Robinhood to obtain AMC's consent, or at least to have AMC stop the relevant actions.

Aron added that the relevant tokens are "fake, synthetic stocks" and may affect AMC's capital structure, and emphasized that "AMC should control its own financial destiny, not Robinhood."
