Ledger CEO fires back at former Mt. Gox CEO: You are not a white knight; you should base your statements on facts rather than speculation.

PANews October 18 news: Ledger CEO Pascal Gauthier responded to former Mt. Gox CEO Mark Karpelès's warning about the security risks of hardware implants, questioning the stance behind his remarks and stating that Ledger always does its utmost to protect users.

Pascal Gauthier said that the related security work is extremely challenging and acknowledged Karpelès's attention to the matter, but demanded that he speak based on known facts and avoid speculation, while also sarcastically remarking: "Come on, you're no white knight, be realistic."

Previously, Mark Karpelès accused Ledger of potentially being able to avoid more than $90 million in losses if it had disclosed the relevant issues in a more timely manner and through more effective means, rather than only publishing an inconspicuous article on Ledger Academy, and he also questioned why Ledger had not maintained sufficient vigilance regarding mass-produced advanced implant devices.
