OpenAI poaches SpaceX's core sales lead in AI again.

PANews October 17 news, according to Cailian Press, OpenAI has officially hired Graham Seamans from SpaceX to serve as the sales lead for the company's cybersecurity business line, the latest move by OpenAI to poach talent from Elon Musk's AI business team.

OpenAI is currently pushing full force into commercial expansion, vigorously expanding the scale of enterprise customer sales on the one hand, while also exploring new revenue sources such as advertising on the other, paving the way for a potential future IPO. Musk had previously sued OpenAI, which he helped found, arguing that the organization's shift to a for-profit model violated its public-interest mission, but ultimately lost the case. Musk subsequently founded rival AI development company xAI and completed a business merger between it and SpaceX.
