OpenAI's head of compute business is reportedly set to leave.

PANews October 15 news, according to reports, OpenAI compute chief Sachin Katti will leave next month after about a year in the role, marking the latest senior personnel change in the company's compute department. Katti joined OpenAI in late 2025 and was responsible for controlling the pace of advancing the Stargate data center project. Katti also finalized additional agreements with suppliers such as Amazon Web Services to strengthen OpenAI's compute reserves.
