Ledger CEO: The company's security team Donjon is inspecting recovered devices and working with law enforcement and contacting affected users.

PANews October 13 news: Ledger CEO Pascal Gauthier posted on X that all confirmed fund losses in this incident involve Ledger signing devices sold through Southeast Asian reseller CryptoBilis. Ledger confirmed on October 10 that one of the affected devices had been implanted with an unauthorized hardware implant, and there is currently no indication that Ledger's own infrastructure, systems, or services were compromised. CryptoBilis has stopped selling Ledger devices. Ledger's security team Donjon is inspecting recovered devices and is cooperating with law enforcement and contacting affected users. Official notice: devices purchased through this channel that have not been activated should not be activated; those already activated should transfer assets as soon as possible using a new device and a new mnemonic phrase; Ledger will not proactively call or ask for the 24-word recovery phrase.
