PANews October 11 news, according to Bits media, the Russian Ministry of Energy stated that cryptocurrency miners, when connecting to the power grid, apply for connection under the fourth category of power supply reliability level. Such users can be directly disconnected by the authorities at any time without prior consultation. This category was established by government decision in February this year, allowing technical connection in regions where energy shortages have been declared and mining is prohibited. The Ministry of Energy said this move can effectively utilize existing energy infrastructure without threatening the reliability of power supply to residents.
