Bitcoin Approaches Breakeven Threshold, Capital-Weighted Cost Basis of $80,500 in Focus

PANews October 10 news: Crypto analyst Darkfost stated that Bitcoin's current price action is relatively similar to the market pattern from late 2025 to early 2026, with the price continuing to fluctuate around the capital-weighted cost basis.

According to the analysis, this capital-weighted cost basis is currently around $80,500. Unlike realized price, which only calculates the purchase price, this indicator weights holding costs according to the scale of invested capital, and is therefore regarded as an important zone for measuring the market's average profit-and-loss status.

Darkfost pointed out that the current zone is a key pivot at which investors on average are at the threshold between profit and loss, and market uncertainty may prompt more investors to take action. At present, this level is still acting as support, but subsequent price action still needs continued attention.
