Kraken parent company Payward partners with Singapore’s Gulf Bank to provide 24/7 settlement for institutional digital asset markets

Kraken parent company Payward and Singapore Gulf Bank (SGB), a licensed digital bank regulated by the Central Bank of Bahrain, have announced a strategic partnership. Payward has been connected to SGB's real-time multi-currency clearing network SGB Net, which provides 7 × 24-hour real-time settlement services for institutional customers in specific jurisdictions in Asia and the Gulf region. It initially supports US dollar transactions for some customers, and plans to gradually expand the scope of customers and other currencies; SGB will also connect to Payward's Kraken Prime to obtain digital asset liquidity and price transactions for its own customers.
