More than $6 million in assets were stolen from Base’s anonymous multi-signature vault, and the identities of 7 signers are unknown

Odaily Planet Daily News Base’s last crypto asset vault was transferred out of approximately 1,783 wstETH on October 4, resulting in a loss of more than $6 million. On-chain records show that the vault is controlled by a 3-of-7 Safe, with seven signatories whose identities have not yet been made public.

The security agency said that the attacker lent aBaswstETH in the vault and exchanged it for wstETH through Aave. Neither the Base chain itself nor the Aave core contract has been accused of being attacked, and the specific authorization vulnerability has not yet been confirmed. (Bitcoin.com News)
