Changpeng Zhao responded to the visit of the New York Times: He wanted to give away free peripherals but was implied to be a "bribery" and just wanted the reporter to be a "walking billboard."

According to ChainCatcher news, Binance co-founder Changpeng Zhao retweeted a tweet about "a New York Times reporter going to his home in Abu Dhabi for an interview" and responded that reporter David admitted to being skeptical about it and suggested that his behavior of giving away free Binance peripherals was a "bribery." He said the perimeter was intended to serve as a "walking billboard" while still thanking the report.

The original tweet posted by Ram stated, "Changpeng Zhao had Binance peripherals piled in front of his home and insisted on asking the reporter to choose a gift. The reporter said he could not accept items over $20. Changpeng Zhao laughed and said, 'It's probably worth $19.'"
