Michael Saylor: AI agents will promote the development of digital assets, and the United States should embrace digital capital transformation

PANews reported on October 4 that Strategy founder Michael Saylor said in a latest interview that as AI enters the era of agents, AI agents will become core participants in the digital economy. Since the traditional financial system has friction and is not friendly to AI, AI agents will tend to use native digital assets such as Bitcoin to conduct automated transactions around the clock. Saylor emphasized that U.S. policymakers should shift from "restriction" to "support", promote capital formation through modern supervision, and protect the self-custody rights of digital assets. He believes that if the United States can embrace digital capital transformation and allow banks to custody Bitcoin and provide credit, it will greatly enhance the country's competitiveness. Saylor finally pointed out that in the face of the disruptive changes brought about by AI, the country should strive to become a technology leader and respond to potential external risks by developing advanced AI and digital asset technologies.
