The loss expanded to approximately US$6 million, and the Base chain vault was attacked

Odaily Planet Daily News According to Spot On Chain monitoring, the losses from the Base chain vault attack have expanded to approximately US$6 million, involving approximately 1,783 wstETH. The attacker lends aBaswstETH from the vault and transfers it to the attacker contract by adding the new contract to the vault whitelist. The attacker's address is a certain address. Spot On Chain stated that the current systemic risk is limited, but it needs to be alert that attackers selling wstETH may cause short-term pressure on the pegged price of liquid staking tokens.
