Analyst: Bitcoin power law model releases signal, reference target price may reach $157,800

According to ChainCatcher news, crypto analyst Darkfost posted that over the past ten years, the fluctuation range of Bitcoin prices around the “Power Law” trend line has been gradually decreasing, and market cycle fluctuations have tended to converge. The peak of the oscillator has dropped from +169 in 2018 to +102 in 2025, and its daily standard deviation has also dropped from 4.81 to 2.47, a drop of approximately 49%.

Darkfost added that as of the model’s oscillator at +34.5, Bitcoin price is around $84,700. According to the calculation of the model parameters of the day, the Bitcoin price corresponding to the oscillator reaching +100 is about $157,800, which is about 86% higher than the current price. He also pointed out that $157,800 is not a fixed target price, but a reference level calculated based on the current regression parameters. If the power law trend line continues to rise in the future, the reference price will also increase accordingly.
