Consensys founder: Infrastructure incident has not affected MetaMask wallet, validator keys have been rotated

According to Foresight News, Joseph Lubin, co-founder of Ethereum and founder and CEO of Consensys, tweeted that based on the current investigation, there is no indication that the MetaMask wallet or customer funds in the wallet were affected by the MetaMask infrastructure incident. The mnemonic words, private keys and wallet assets are not involved in this incident and are managed by the users themselves.

The team has not publicly discussed the details of the incident that is still being processed, but has disclosed it to partners and stakeholders and is working together to address the issue. As a precautionary measure, it rotated the verifier keys with its partners, and the relevant verifiers must first exit the pledge queue and then re-enter.
