U.S. nonfarm payrolls data for July and August revised down by 60,000

ChainCatcher news, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics revised the number of new non-farm jobs in July from +21,000 to -10,000, and in August from 162,000 to 133,000.

After the revision, the number of new jobs added in July and August combined was 60,000 lower than before the revision.
