Bloomberg: Anthropic could launch an IPO as early as mid-November and could be valued at US$1.8 trillion to US$2 trillion

PANews reported on October 2 that according to Bloomberg, Anthropic is seeking to go public as early as mid-November and may launch formal IPO marketing in the week of November 9. The goal is to start trading before Thanksgiving on November 26, and is still expected to complete the listing before the end of the year at the latest. Some potential investors believe Anthropic has a reasonable valuation range of about $1.8 trillion to $2 trillion, and the company expects the IPO to be as large as or larger than SpaceX, people familiar with the matter said. Anthropic will have revenue of about $4.6 billion in 2025, up from $386 million in 2024, but will have a net loss of nearly $42 billion, with more than $34 billion coming from changes in the fair value of liabilities and an operating loss of more than $8 billion. Relevant arrangements are still under discussion and the schedule may continue to be adjusted.
