PANews reported on September 29 that Stride, the Cosmos ecological liquidity staking protocol, posted on the X platform that it proposed an orderly shutdown of the Stride chain because its operating funds are about to be exhausted. The current TVL is about US$6 million. Users can redeem stToken normally before October 12th. Redemption will be suspended thereafter. Redemption is expected to resume on Osmosis around November 20th. stToken will not expire.

The project side stated that the funds will be exhausted in February 2027 at the current burn rate; after the migration, stATOM, stOSMO and other stTokens will enter the Osmosis conversion pool at a fixed exchange rate, and the redemption will become a swap. After the migration is completed, staking income will no longer be generated.
