PANews October 17 news, according to Bloomberg citing people familiar with the matter, Apple has hired Meta's longtime deputy general counsel and head of litigation Scott Tucker as vice president of a newly created global litigation and financial services role, overseeing global commercial and patent litigation as well as legal matters related to Apple's financial products.

Tucker will once again work with Apple General Counsel Jennifer Newstead, who joined Apple from Meta in March this year. The change is part of a restructuring of Apple's legal team, against the backdrop of the company facing U.S. antitrust litigation, an App Store dispute with Epic Games, and lawsuits involving privacy and delays to Siri features. Both Apple and Meta declined to comment.
