Ledger Chief Technology Officer Charles Guillemet said in a post on social media on Tuesday that the company is evaluating its device sales process and anti-tampering mechanisms, and reminded users who suspect their devices have been tampered with to consult official security guidelines before disassembling the hardware, while also sending suspicious devices back to Ledger for further inspection.

Previously, multiple users reported theft of funds from Ledger wallets, with some affected devices linked to devices sold by Malaysian distributor CryptoBilis.
