Coinbase discloses integration progress after acquiring Deribit: more than 100 USDC settlement contracts have been launched

PANews reported on September 24 that Coinbase Chief Commercial Officer Shan Aggarwal issued a document disclosing the integration progress after acquiring the crypto options trading platform Deribit. He stated that the current integration progress of both parties is "generally good" and has completed a number of progress so far, including: the launch of more than 100 new USDC settlement contracts in 5 market areas, covering pre-IPO perpetual contracts, which is the largest perpetual contract expansion in Deribit's history;

For the first time, stocks and ETFs will be traded online in the form of perpetual contracts; a new matching engine will be launched to improve the core trading infrastructure to make the large-scale trading environment faster and more stable while maintaining the same user experience; and access Coinbase spot liquidity for Deribit spot trading. Shan Aggarwal added that the platform integration process still faces a lot of work, and more phased results will be announced in the future.
