Glassnode: BTC spot trading volume rebounded by 121%, Gate’s share increased first

PANews reported on September 24 that Glassnode's latest "The Week On-chain - Escape Velocity" report showed that BTC spot market activity has rebounded significantly. The 24-hour spot trading volume of various trading platforms increased by 121% from the August low, with Gate’s share increasing the most. This round of heavy volume is synchronized with the rise in BTC prices, which is different from the previous market trend in which four consecutive transaction expansions were accompanied by price declines. In terms of price structure, BTC has reached the real market average price of $77,000 and the long-term holder supply zone of $84,000 to $85,000. Options data shows that trader hedging may amplify price fluctuations between BTC’s current price and $92,000, while a positive gamma near $95,000 may form a certain buffer for the rise. Combined with an average MVRV price of $96,700, $95,000 to $97,000 is seen as the next key test area for this run.

Against the background of the gradual recovery of spot demand, Gate ranks third in BTC spot trading volume among Glassnode coverage platforms, with a trading share of 9.1%, an increase of 7.1 percentage points, the highest growth rate among all statistical platforms. In the past 24 months, Gate has ranked among the top three in BTC spot trading volume for 9 months, reflecting the persistence of market performance. At a stage when demand is picking up and investors' willingness to sell to cash out profits is still low, Gate's current trading share and ranking also provide platform-side samples for observing the return of spot funds to different trading platforms.
