Data: South Korea’s on-chain activities reached US$449.1 billion in the past year, ranking first in East Asia

PANews reported on October 6 that according to the Chainalysis report, from July 2025 to June 2026, the scale of Korean on-chain encryption activities was approximately US$449.1 billion, an increase of 12.30% from the previous cycle, ranking first in East Asia; Japan, Hong Kong, and Mainland China were approximately US$228.3 billion, US$192.2 billion, and US$176.3 billion respectively, and East Asia totaled approximately US$1.19 trillion. The report shows that as of June this year, AI tokens have become the theme sector with the largest trading volume in South Korea, with WLD trading volume reaching US$7.41 billion.
