Trump's second son's 1789 Capital plans to raise $3 billion for second growth fund

PANews, September 24, Bloomberg reported that 1789 Capital, an investment company owned by Trump’s second son, Donald Trump Jr., is seeking to raise US$3 billion for a second growth fund. It has already raised approximately US$2 billion from existing investors. It is reported that 1789 Capital’s assets under management currently exceed US$4 billion. Its investment portfolio includes Anduril Industries Inc., Polymarket, and many companies owned by Elon Musk, such as X, xAI, and SpaceX.

However, 1789 Capital has plans to reduce the number of investment projects, increase the size of single investments, and lead more financing rounds. It was previously reported that 1789 Capital is considering leading a new round of financing of approximately US$1 billion in the prediction market platform Polymarket, with a proposed investment of approximately US$300 million.
