ChainCatcher news, Samsung Electronics announced the preliminary results for the third quarter, operating profit soared 783% over the same period last year, an increase of 20.01%, slightly exceeding analyst expectations. The surge in demand for AI chips is driving profitable growth in the memory business.

Samsung expects operating profit of 107.4 trillion won (US $80.17 billion) in Q3 and revenue of 195 trillion won, up 127% year-on-year.
