Vitalik outlines Ethereum’s new “beyond blockchain” architecture in 2030

PANews reported on September 27 that according to CoinDesk, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin said that he envisions that Ethereum in 2030 will rely more on cryptographic proofs and off-chain calculations to process transactions, rather than having each node in the network repeat the same operation. In this solution, proofs are mainly stored and verified on the chain, allowing users to independently verify results more efficiently while enhancing the privacy protection of payments, balances and wallet activities. Vitalik said this transformation will accelerate after the planned Hegotá upgrade, but developers will still need to significantly reduce the cost of generating proofs and securely coordinate parallel workflows to achieve structural upgrades to the network in terms of scaling and privacy.

It was reported earlier today that Vitalik said: Hegota may be the last "regular" upgrade of Ethereum, and will then transform into an "encrypted world computer."
