Apple plans to launch its first batch of Apple Intelligence features in China in December.

PANews October 15 news, according to Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman, Apple is preparing to launch its first batch of Apple Intelligence features in China through iOS 27.3 in December this year, after the features had been shelved in China for years due to regulatory review. The features going live this time are those first introduced in 2024, and do not include the new AI features introduced with iOS 27 in the United States and other regions, nor do they include Siri AI. Gurman said Apple executives are not optimistic about Siri AI launching in China in the near term, but he believes the upgraded Apple Intelligence will eventually arrive in China.
