U.S. Government AI Chatbot America.gov Misses Recent Crypto Legislation Progress

America.gov, the U.S. government's AI chatbot, launched on September 29 and is positioned as the federal government's unified digital portal, with access to information and updates from about 29,000 government websites. Gemini, a Google company, is its technology partner, and Grok is involved in the development of the platform.

Among Bitcoin reserves, crypto asset regulation, tax filings, etc., America.gov can provide tax forms, fraud reports, and security tips, but it does not cover some of the recent legislative developments, and presents the US Securities and Exchange Commission's withdrawn digital asset guidelines.

America.gov often includes a non-recommended statement in their responses, stating what services are not available. Its FAQ prompts that AI can be wrong and users should check the source attached to each response before making an important decision. (Bitcoin.com News)
