PANews October 18 news: Chainalysis published an analysis stating that tokenization is expanding the overseas market for U.S. Treasuries. According to its 2026 data, Italy, Portugal, and Singapore hold 66.9% of tokenized U.S. Treasuries (counted by geographic location) of the total, while the United States accounts for 10.5%. Chainalysis pointed out that tokenization lowers the minimum holding threshold and eliminates the need to open a U.S. brokerage account, thereby providing overseas investors with another channel to invest in U.S. Treasuries.
