PANews October 13 news, according to Cointelegraph, European electronics retailer MediaMarkt's parent company MediaMarktSaturn has removed Ledger's entire product line from stores and online platforms, and said it is in contact with the hardware wallet manufacturer, stating that it attaches great importance to this incident.

X user Johannes said that unauthorized cables and cellular modules were found in two Ledger wallets purchased from two different MediaMarkt stores. Ledger said that such implants can transmit users' recovery phrases via cellular networks, and is investigating related reports beyond CryptoBilis.

Former Mt. Gox CEO Mark Karpelès also said that the Ledger Flex he purchased at Singapore Changi Airport also contained spy implants. In response, Ledger said users should refer to the latest CryptoBilis investigation update, but did not directly respond to the Singapore case, nor did it confirm whether tampered devices exist in Europe.
