Franklin Templeton Discusses Tokenized Fund Trading with SEC Crypto Task Force

PANews October 10 news, according to Bitcoin.com, Franklin Templeton met with the U.S. SEC Crypto Task Force on October 9 to discuss whether investors can directly exchange on-chain fund shares for tokenized U.S. stocks on blockchain trading platforms, whether liquidity providers can charge service fees, and how the pricing rules of the Investment Company Act apply. The meeting also covered trading pairs composed of tokenized ETFs and tokenized stocks, compliant payment stablecoins or tokenized money market funds, and whether liquidity pools require investment company exemptions.
