Winverse AI completes seed round funding at a $400 million valuation, led by DeepSeek.

PANews October 12 news, according to Bloomberg, AI research institution DeepSeek plans to lead the seed round financing of robotics AI startup Winverse AI, with an investment scale in the tens of millions of dollars.

Sources said that Winverse AI was founded by a former top AI scientist from Tencent and is currently operating in stealth mode. In addition to DeepSeek, investors such as Long-Z Investments, an investment institution under Meituan, also participated in this round of financing. After the investment is completed, the company's valuation is approximately $400 million.

DeepSeek will use part of its more than $12 billion in financing funds to support this investment, betting on the rapidly developing field of artificial intelligence and robotics technology. This investment shows that DeepSeek's strategic direction is further extending from large language models to the field of Embodied AI. As AI model capabilities develop toward real-world interaction, robot control, and other directions, robotics AI has become a new focus of industry competition.

It is reported that DeepSeek previously attracted global attention with low-cost, high-performance large models and continues to expand investment in AI infrastructure and technology research and development.
